Preferred Basement Solutions
About
Preferred Basement Solutions, based in Dublin, Ohio, brings over 45 years of foundation and basement repair experience to homeowners throughout Ohio. As the basement division of Shepherd Excavating, Inc., which has served the region since 1973, the company specializes in waterproofing, wall repair, and crawl space solutions. The business uses Rub-R-Wall, a spray-applied rubber polymer waterproofing membrane with a lifespan exceeding 100 years. This product contains zero asphalt or bitumen and resists bacteria, fungus, and chemical damage. For crawl space issues, Preferred Basement Solutions installs the Emeseal Crawl Space Encapsulation System, featuring antimicrobial floor and wall liners with zero permeability to control moisture and prevent mold growth. Wall repairs are handled through epoxy injection methods for non-structural cracks that allow water intrusion. The company also offers concrete sealing services alongside its waterproofing work. Free basement inspections are available to assess moisture problems and recommend appropriate solutions. Veteran-owned and operated, Preferred Basement Solutions emphasizes knowledgeable technicians and results built to last. The business serves both Dublin and the Columbus area. Homeowners can request a free price quote to understand costs before committing to repairs.
