Parks' Waterproofing
About
Parks' Waterproofing serves North Carolina with basement and foundation waterproofing using the patented Parks' Free-Flowing Waterproofing System. The company holds a general contractor license (License # 101085). The Parks' system combines multiple protective layers including a waterproofing membrane, termite-treated insulation board, high-quality filter fabric, and a four-inch wall of washed stone. The design actively drains water away from foundations and basements rather than relying solely on surface membranes. The system comes with a lifetime guarantee and is engineered to prevent moisture intrusion, reduce mold and mildew, and protect against foundation corrosion. Each project begins with a thorough investigation of the home's perimeter to ensure drainage effectiveness. The owner, who brings 35+ years of experience, personally provides estimates for customers. Parks' Waterproofing coordinates closely throughout installation to deliver cost-effective solutions tailored to individual homes. The company emphasizes that their waterproofing approach has been rigorously tested and approved by structural engineers and building inspectors. Beyond water prevention, the system increases a home's R-value, making it especially relevant for homeowners undertaking major renovations in Western North Carolina. The focus remains on eliminating basement and foundation water problems permanently rather than offering temporary fixes.
