Better Basements and Waterproofing
About
Better Basements and Waterproofing serves homeowners, real estate agents, and property managers throughout Oregon from locations in Portland, Eugene, and Vancouver. The company specializes in basement waterproofing, crawl space waterproofing with vapor barriers, and foundation repairs including crack repair and pier posts. The company operates on a selective bidding approach: project advisors submit quotes only when they believe the work can deliver guaranteed results, meaning homeowners won't receive an estimate unless the team is confident in a lasting fix. All project advisors have hands-on installation experience and follow code-compliant installation methods. Reviewers consistently highlight punctuality, professionalism, and attention to detail. One customer described a crawl space project where the crew installed a drain system and sump pump while replacing an old vapor barrier, then returned months later for a seasonal inspection. Another praised the estimator for patience over multiple weeks of questions, and several noted that crews arrived early and finished efficiently. The company offers free estimates by phone, text, or email. Their stated approach centers on relational stewardship, expecting excellence while delivering compassion in all interactions. Rather than operating as a high-volume operation, Better Basements appears to prioritize quality outcomes and long-term customer confidence in the solutions they provide.
